This is an outdoor event that will be on the parking lot next to convention center. No touching or leaning on any vehicles while taking pictures, be respectful of all vehicles. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you are acting out of line. Outdoor part of the Festival is Free to the General Public. Spectators will park in designated area for general public.
Schedule for Day of Event:
Festival gates open at 12 noon, all events end at 11pm
10:30 Move In and Set Up at the SPI Convention Center if NOT going to causeway cruise. If going to the cruise report to Port Isabel Wal-Mart parking lot at 10:30am. The cruise convey will enter the convention center so you will move-in and set up at that time as you arrive (probably 11:30 to 12)
11:00am - Ride along causeway cruise with Paul Sr. of OCC
Meet point is the P.I. War-Mart Parking Lot at 10:30am.
ONLY those who plan to be part of the car show can join the cruise.
10:30am to 2:00pm - Registration
1:30pm to 3:30 pm Judging of Vehicles
6:00 pm Awards Ceremony

Only registered participants will be allowed to park (plus show & shine)
Registration Fee $25
This includes an event shirt and patch on a first come first serve basis
pre-registering helps guarantee you get a shirt/patch/parking spot.
*** For Show & Shine participants the fee is $10 to park and show your ride but you will not be in the running for any awards or prizes. You do not need to pre-register just show up during registration times***

Participant Rules
1. All parking will be on a first come first serve basis
2. Vehicle numbers are randomly assigned once your registration is received
3. Tents are welcomed and encouraged behind or next to vehicle.
You can also bring a small ice chest with water.
4. All registered participants must stay till awards. You must be present to receive award (unless an emergency please notify me) Be sure judges have looked at your car otherwise you have no chance of placing.
5. You will be judged on paint, body, finish, wheels & tires, engine bay, interior and overall appearance & showmanship. Vehicle Hood and trunk must be open during judging. Just parking will not get you the highest points possible if your ride is not super clean and in pristine condition. SHOWMANSHIP IS A BIG ONE. Judges must have access to all areas of vehicle.
All judge’s decisions are final.

PLEASE READ PAGEANT RULES AND EXPECTATIONS :
1. Must be a natural born female and be 18 years of age as of October 1st
2. Only one outfit is needed. Attire is Sexy Biker Wear. Please arrive dressed on time (1:30pm) and ready to get on stage (2pm). Not following theme will lead to point deduction and/or being disqualified with NO refund of fee.
Recommendations: leather jacket or dress, heels, boots, skirt, leather chaps, vest with a nice bra, fishnets, biker pinup vintage look anything that is biker related. You may add props to your outfits such as Isunglasses but must be removed at least once so judges can see you.
3. You will be judged on outfit coordination, modeling, poses, grace, confidence, facial beauty, and adhering to biker theme and spirit of Chrome in the Sand. NO OVER REVEALING ITEMS Ex. Only wearing a thong or any type of see-through items that reveal any private parts . NO SWIM WEAR. This year it is NOT a swim wear competition. Keep in mind this is a family event.
4. You must pre-register if possible. Entry Fee to compete is $25.
No admission fee for general audience to see you on stage. Pageant will be outdoors on main stage. You may be given the microphone to introduce yourself. Judges decision is final. Fee is Non-Refundable, no exceptions.
Same day registration will be available at 1pm.

This following apply to car show and pageant event. All cash prizes are being sponsored by Bird Promotions (Raul) and it is the sole responsibility of the sponsor to provide the prize to all the winners day of event. Rebecca O' Productions is not providing any cash prizes for this event. Whether you pre-register or register day of event, by participating in this event, you agree that entry shall serve as a photo release. Entrants and participants by registering for this event, you understand that you release and discharge Rebecca O' Productions and it's owner, Rebecca Orellana-Anciso aka Rebecca Car Queen, location of event: Chrome in the Sand Festival & City of South Padre Island, SPI Convention Center, sponsors, employees, volunteers, judges and any participants from any and all known damages, injuries, losses, judgments and/or claims from any causes that may be suffered by an entrants and their guests during or after this event. Rebecca O’ Productions is NOT responsible for any theft or injuries that occur during any part of the car show and will NOT be held accountable for such acts. Car Show Judges decision is also final. Good Sportsmanship is appreciated and anyone acting out of line will be asked to leave car show grounds and may be possibly banned from participating in any future events. Judge’s decision is final. Arguing or public outbreaks of any form will NOT be tolerated. All registration/entry fees and money collected is not transferable, non-refundable whether you show up to event or not. If you encounter a problem, please address any and all concerns to Rebecca Car Queen. You also understand that All Fees are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable, NO EXCEPTION!! This applies even if you cannot attend event and/or date changes due to weather. By signing this application, registering online or day of event, you agree with the terms of the car show. You also agree that your vehicle is legally registered to be on the road (unless towed) and has insurance to cover any damages that you may cause and that you will be held financially responsible for any damages you cause day of event. You also acknowledge you have reviewed the entire application, event information and understand what is expected of you to prepare your vehicle.
