2025 Pageants

Date: Sunday September 28th, 2025

Location: Harlingen Community Theatre, 1209 Fair Park Blvd. 

Harlingen, Texas 78550

Check In: 2:45pm for all contestants  

Pageant Time: 3:15pm to 4:00pm

***This is a very simple (great beginner level pageant). This pageant does NOT have interviews,  no onstage questions, and no evening gown ***

Admission Fee: $10 per person. Kids under 3 are Free. 

Tickets will ONLY be sold at the door starting at 3:00pm (Cash ONLY)

Doors open at 3:00pm. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

Only 1 female is allowed backstage with contestant and that person must also pay general admission. 

**My visiting queens are Free, any guest(s) with them need a ticket, and queens from any other production have a $5 general admission fee.

Darling (Special Needs Division for All Ages Any Disabilities)

Must be of Hispanic/Mexican/Latin heritage descent (at least 25%)

Depending on final count of registered participants; all age divisions are subject to change, be modified, get combined or deleted based on the number of girls in that division. 

Fee Includes:

1/2 page ad in our color program book (5.5 X 8.5) 

Entry into the pageant

1 program book day of the event

1 general admission ticket

NEED PHOTO BY THIS DATE FOR PROGRAM BOOK 

All Contestants MUST submit 1 good quality headshot photo when you submit online application that will be used for program book, most photogenic award, and for those who  are 3 years of age  and younger the photo is part of your score. ALL CONTESTANTS NEED 1 OUTFIT ONLY!! 

Ages 3 months to 3 years old 

1. Mexico Heritage Dress -  150 points 

2. Photogenic - 30 pts

Ages 4 years and older 

1. Mexico Heritage Dress -  150 points 

2. On-Stage Introduction - 30 pts

Mexico Heritage Dress Wear  

This MUST be a DRESS  that reflects the Hispanic, Latina and/or Mexican Culture and Traditions. You MUST adhere to the theme. Walk and outfit coordination will be judged. This is an outfit of choice (ANY color is fine but keep in mind the  colors of Mexico are Red, White and Green). You may use props such as hats (sombreros), sunglasses, scarfs or other things that are representative of the Mexico culture etc. 

On-Stage Introduction 

This is brief introduction, try to keep under 1 minute. It must include your name, city, age and may include goals, favorite quote, hobbies or something interesting about yourself.  May be done in Spanish but not required. 

People’s Choice 

Award will be given to contestant who gets the most votes at the pageant. This is for an extra award  on stage. Each vote will be $1.00. No Limit! Cash or CashApp only.  This does not affect scores or crowning. Proceeds will go to local charities. A nice crown, ribbon sash, and trophy will be given on stage. 

Photogenic Photo

Must look as professional as possible, clear and good resolution. No distracting backgrounds. Must be a head shot that shows your natural facial beauty without effects or alterations (no glitz photos) . Be sure to smile! 

For girls under 3 years, photo will be judged and part of your score. 

Hair and Makeup

Makeup for all divisions should be kept natural. Light Stage glamorous makeup is allowed during all on stage competitions for all divisions. When worn, makeup should enhance the contestant’s natural beauty and should not overpower them. Hair styles should be age appropriate. THIS IS A SEMI-GLITZ PAGEANT. No nails under 6, no tans that are out of the norm or distracting, keep hair pieces to a minimum, no showing of midriff (stomach area for younger age groups) Outfit MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE! 

Points will be deducted for not following rules. 

Important Event Details:

1. Must be a natural born female. No exceptions. 
2. Must have never been married nor have children. ONLY Miss, Ms,  Mrs, and Diva may be married, divorced, separated and/or have children.
3. No Experience is needed, and Contestant must reside in South Texas  or Mexico (San Antonio down)
4. Only One adult per contestant backstage. Must be female. Anyone backstage or in auditorium MUST purchase an admission ticket.
5. This is a semi-glitz pageant. Age-appropriate outfits and make-up are required.
6. Crowned Queens MUST attend at LEAST 3 events during year of reign.
7. Director can change/modify/rearrange/eliminate age divisions as needed based on registration. 
8. Judge’s decision is final. Arguing or public outbreaks of any form will NOT be tolerated. Good Sportsmanship is asked of all contestants and their families. Score sheets are texted a week after pageant to all contestants at director's discretion.  
9. Any parents walking or carrying their child on-stage (under 3 yrs old) must wear BLACK if possible, this is so that you don't take away attention from your child.
10.  Ages 4 and up MUST walk on stage by themselves parent/guardian must wait behind curtain

One Queen will be crowned in each age division. They will receive a rhinestone crown, embroidered sash,  crown pin on sash , and  a plaque or trophy. 

 All Runner-Ups will receive a mini crown and/or trophy award in each age division on stage (Everyone will leave with something). Any prize can change or be replaced at director’s discretion no guarantees. Thank You for your interest and Best of Luck at the Pageant!!
