2025 Pageants

Check In: 4:00pm (Tentative) Final schedule will be email/text to contestants

Pageant Time: 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Admission Ticket  Fee: $20 for Everyone 

Tickets will ONLY be sold at the door starting at 5:15pm (Cash ONLY)

Bring exact change, if possible, kids under 3 are Free. 

Doors open at 5:15pm. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

My visiting queens are Free, any guest(s) with them need a ticket, and queens from any other production have a $5 general admission fee. 

Only 1 female is allowed backstage with contestant and that person must also have a general admission ticket. 

Fee Includes:

Full page ad in color program book (5.5 X 8.5) 

Entry into the pageant

1 program book day of the event

Depending on final count of registered participants; all age divisions are subject to change, be modified, get combined or deleted based on the number of girls in that division. 

Important Event Details:

**CONTESTANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 25%  OF HISPANIC, LATINA, AND/OR MEXICAN HERITAGE DESCENT **

1. Must be a natural born female. No exceptions. 
2. Must have never been married nor have children. ONLY Miss, Ms/Mrs  Divisions may be married/divorced/separated and/or have children.
3. No Experience is needed, and Contestant must reside in South Texas (San Antonio down) preferably live in the Rio Grande Valley  
4. Only One adult per contestant backstage. Must be female. Anyone backstage or in auditorium MUST purchase an admission ticket.
5. This is a semi-glitz pageant. Age-appropriate outfits and make-up are required.
6. Crowned Queens MUST attend at LEAST 3 events during year of reign.
7. Director can change/modify/rearrange/eliminate age divisions as needed based on registration. The Darling division is a  special needs  and disability division  for girls/teens/women of all ages
8. Judge’s decision is final. Arguing or public outbreaks of any form will NOT be tolerated. Good Sportsmanship is asked of all contestants and their families.
9. Any parents walking or carrying their child on-stage (under 3 yrs old) must wear BLACK if possible, this is so that you don't take away attention from your child.
10.  Ages 4 and up MUST walk on stage by themselves parent/guardian must wait behind curtain. 

 All Contestants MUST submit 1 good quality headshot photo when you submit your application (needs to be attached) for the  program book.

AGES 0 Months to 3 years (2 outfits needed)

2. Tropical  Fashion Wear - 45%  
3. Formal Evening Gown - 45%  

AGES 4 Years and older  (3  outfits needed)

            1.  Opening Dance - Baby Blue Cocktail Dress 

            2. On-Stage Introduction (Same blue dress as Dance) - 10% 

            3.  Tropical Fashion Wear -30% 

            4.  Onstage  Interview Q & A - 30%

            5. Evening Formal Gown -30% 

Opening Dance (Baby Blue Dress)

This is a short dance done at the start of the pageant. You will learn and practice dance day of the pageant (it will be simple) video of dance (link) will be sent out so you can practice at home a few days before the pageant. You will be wearing your BABY BLUE cocktail dress. 

On-Stage Introduction (Baby Blue Dress) 

This is brief introduction, try to keep under 1 minute. It must include your name, city, age and may include goals, favorite quote, hobbies or something interesting about yourself.  This is done in  your BABY BLUE knee length cocktail style dress after the dance.

Tropical Fashion Wear 

This is an outfit of choice (any color); tropical fashion wear is vibrant, vacation-inspired attire, often bold floral prints or nature-inspired prints, bright colors, and breezy fabrics like chiffon. Outfits can range from flowy sundresses, maxi dresses, to more formal options like sequined rompers with overskirts or custom-made pieces with tropical accents. NO Jeans and No pants are allowed. The key is to embody a fun, stylish, island vibe. Be creative!  Walk, poses, outfit coordination, and adhering to theme will be judged.  Props are welcomed ex. sunglasses, hats, flowers in hair etc. THIS IS NOT SWIM WEAR!!! 

Evening Gown 

Your dress should reflect your personality and be age appropriate. Choose a dress that best flatters your body type… feel comfortable in it.  For 3 years and older ALL DRESSES MUST BE FLOOR LENGTH and can be any style or shade of color, 

Only exception to this is the baby and little miss divisions under 23 month who can have shorter cupcake style dresses due to them being so small. 

On-Stage Interview Q & A

This is done during the pageant after evening wear competition. Mini interview is Question and Answer Style. Each judge will ask 2 questions for a total of 6 questions. (3 minutes max) This is your chance to show your personality to the judges and audience. You will be wearing your evening gown during this portion of the competition. You can answer in English and/or Spanish. A list of possible questions will be sent to contestants in their packet a few days before the pageant. Keep in mind judges can alter or slightly change questions as needed based on age. 

Photogenic 

Must look as professional as possible, clear and good resolution. No distracting backgrounds. Must be a head shot that shows your natural facial beauty without effects or alterations (no glitz photos) . Be sure to smile! For girls ages 3 and under  photo will be judged and part of your score! Most Photogenic award will also be given put. 

People’s Choice 

Award will be given to contestant who gets the most votes at the pageant. This is for an extra award on stage. Each vote will be $1.00……. No Limit! Cash only.  This does not affect scores or crowning. Proceeds will go to local charities. A crown, ribbon or satin sash and trophy will be given to winner. 

Hair and Makeup

Makeup for all divisions should be kept natural. Light Stage glamorous makeup is allowed during all on stage competitions for all divisions. When worn, makeup should enhance the contestant’s natural beauty and should not overpower them. Hair styles should be age appropriate. THIS IS A SEMI-GLITZ PAGEANT. No nails under 5, no tans that are out of the norm or distracting, keep hair pieces to a minimum, no showing of midriff (stomach area for younger age groups) ALL OUTFITS MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE! Points will be deducted for not following rules.

One Queen will be crowned in each age division. They will receive a rhinestone crown, satin embroidered sash, crown pin, trophy, bouquets of flowers (artificial), photo shoot package (pending sponsor), and other prizes as sponsors  are acquired. All Runner-Ups will receive a mini crown and/or trophy award in each age division.
