2025 Pageants

Date: Sunday January 19th, 2025 

Location: Harlingen Community Theatre, 1209 Fair Park Blvd. 

Harlingen, Texas 78550

Check In: 1:45pm for all contestants  

Pageant Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm

Admission Fee: $10 per person. Kids under 3 are Free. 

Tickets will ONLY be sold at the door starting at 2:15pm (Cash or $CashApp)

Queens from any production are free with any pet food or school supply donation. Otherwise a $5 fee applies.

Doors open at 2:15pm. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

Only 1 female is allowed backstage with contestant and that person must also pay general admission.

Darling (Special Needs Division for All Ages Any Disabilities)

All age divisions are subject to change, be modified, get combined or deleted based on number of registered participants. 

All Contestants MUST submit 1 good quality headshot photo when you submit online application that will be used for program book, most photogenic award, and for those who  are under 3 years of age the photo is part of your score. All Contestants (2 Outfits Needed)

NO DANCE, NO INTERVIEW, NO ON-STAGE QUESTIONS  

1. Red Fashion Wear - 50%

2.  Evening Formal Gown Wear - 50%

3. Photogenic (under 3) - 10pts

4. On-Stage Introduction (4 and up) - 10pts

This is one of our more simple pageants, keep that in mind. 

People’s Choice 

Award will be given to contestant who gets the most votes at the pageant. This is for an extra award  on stage. Each vote will be $1.00. No Limit! Cash or CashApp only.  This does not affect scores or crowning. Proceeds will go to local charities. A huge crown, satin sash and trophy will be given. 

Red Fashion Wear 

This is an outfit of choice that is any shade of red that is high fashion, runway style attire. It can have glitter, sequins, but must be dominantly red in color. Outfit can be dress, dressy pants, skirt. etc. Walk and outfit coordination will be judged. You can also use props such as hats, scarfs, etc. Shoes can be any color but red, neutral/tan, clear  or black are a great choice. 

Evening Gown 

Your dress should reflect your personality and be age appropriate. Choose a dress that best flatters your body type… feel comfortable in it.  MUST BE FLOOR LENGTH length and can be any style or shade of color.  Only exception to this rule is the divisions under 23 months, which can have cupcake style dresses or dresses that are at the knee.

On-Stage Introduction 

This is brief introduction, try to keep under 1 minute. It must include your name, city, age and may include goals, favorite quote, hobbies or something interesting about yourself.  

Photogenic 

Must look as professional as possible, clear and good resolution. No distracting backgrounds. Must be a head shot that shows your natural facial beauty without effects or alterations (no glitz photos) . Be sure to smile! 

For girls under 3 years, photo will be judged and part of your score. 

Hair and Makeup

Makeup for all divisions should be kept natural. Light Stage glamorous makeup is allowed during all on stage competitions for all divisions. When worn, makeup should enhance the contestant’s natural beauty and should not overpower them. Hair styles should be age appropriate. THIS IS A SEMI-GLITZ PAGEANT. No nails under 5, no tans that are out of the norm or distracting, keep hair pieces to a minimum, no showing of midriff (stomach area for younger age groups) ALL OUTFITS MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE! Points will be deducted for not following rules. 

Important Event Details:

1. Must be a natural born female. No exceptions. 
2. Must have never been married nor have children. ONLY Miss, Ms, Mrs, and Diva Divisions may be married, divorced, separated and/or have children.
3. No Experience is needed, and Contestant must reside in South Texas (San Antonio down)
4. Only One adult per contestant backstage. Must be female. Anyone backstage or in auditorium MUST purchase an admission ticket.
5. This is a semi-glitz pageant. Age-appropriate outfits and make-up are required.
6. Crowned Queens MUST attend at LEAST 3 events during year of reign.
7. Director can change/modify/rearrange/eliminate age divisions as needed based on registration. 
8. Judge’s decision is final. Arguing or public outbreaks of any form will NOT be tolerated. Good Sportsmanship is asked of all contestants and their families.
9. Any parents walking or carrying their child on-stage (under 3 yrs old) must wear BLACK if possible, this is so that you don't take away attention from your child.
10.  Ages 4 and up MUST walk on stage by themselves parent/guardian must wait behind curtain

One Queen will be crowned in each age division. They will receive a Rhinestone Crown, Satin Embriodered Sash, Crown Pin, Trophy,  photo shoot package (pending sponsor), All Runner-Ups will receive a mini crown and/or trophy award in each age division on stage (Everyone will leave with something). Any prize can change or be replaced at director’s discretion no guarantees. Other prizes may be added to all queens as more sponsors  are acquired.
