To REGISTER for our upcoming Miss South Texas Rose and Miss Valley Teenage 2026-27 Double Pageant fill out the form below, send payment, and read all information about the pageant.  

YOU MUST ATTACH A HEADSHOT PHOTO TO YOUR APPLICATION  

Photo will be used for the program book, people's choice, and photogenic competition. If your photo is not ready, please wait to register till you have your photo ready to attach.  Thank you! 

Keep in mind what you type in application will be used at the pageant.

MISS SOUTH TEXAS ROSE 2026-27 PAGEANT INFORMATION

Date: Sunday August 23rd, 2026

Location:  Harlingen Community Theater

1209 Fair Park Blvd. Harlingen, Texas 

Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm

DEADLINE TO REGISTER AUGUST 19TH!!!


Constant Check-In:  1:45pm (BE IN TIME!!)

Arrive DRESSED for your personal interview in your business attire. 

Personal Interviews start exactly at 2pm, if you are late you may miss it. 


General Admission Fee: $10 for Everyone 

Bring exact change, if possible, Kids under 3 are Free. 

Seating is on a first come first serve basis.

Only 1 female is allowed backstage with contestant and that person must also pay general admission. 


Registration Entry Fee $150  

Payment Types Accepted: CashApp, PayPal, Zelle, Cash

If paying cash it must be done by deadline in Harlingen.

Fee Includes:

Half page color ad in program book

Entry into the pageant and all special awards

Darling (Special Needs Divisions Any Disabilities)


Miss, Ms, Mrs may have children and/or married/single/divorced. Martial status does not determine division, age does. 

** Director has the right to close, add, combine, split into two, and adjust age divisions as needed based on final counts of Registered Participants and is always done in the fairest way possible for contestants. 


AREA OF COMPETITION 

Ages 0 months to 3 years old 

1. Western Glitz Fashion Wear - 30 pts (50%)

2.  Evening Formal Gown Wear -  30pts (50%)

3. Photogenic - 10pts


Ages 4  years and older 

1. Personal  Interview (Business Attire) - 30 pts (30%)

2.  On-Stage Introduction - 10 pts (10%) 

3. Western Glitz Fashion Wear -  30 pts (30%)

4.  Evening Gown Formal Wear - 30 pts (30%)


Any parents walking child on-stage (under 3 yrs old) must wear black (if possible) this is so that you don't take away attention from your child. Ages 4 and up MUST walk on stage by themselves parent/guardian must wait off stage.


People’s Choice 

Award will be given to contestant who gets the most monetary votes. This is for an extra award on stage. Each vote will be $1.00. No Limit! This does not affect scores or crowning in any way. Proceeds will go to local charities. A crown, ribbon sash and trophy will be given. 


Personal Interview 

This is done right before the pageants, this is a one to one interview in front of all 3 judges. Each judge will ask 2 questions for a total of 6 questions. (5 minutes max) .They may also ask follow up questions based on your responses.  This is your chance to show your personality to the judges and your only chance to get that close interaction with them. If time permits a list of all possible questions that can be asked will be emailed to the contestants. You wear a business pant/skirt suit or Sunday's best, something you would wear to a job interview.  


On-Stage Introduction 

This is brief introduction, try to keep under 1 minute. It must include your name, city, age and may include goals, favorite quote, hobbies or something interesting about yourself.  This is done in your interview business attire. 


Western Glitz Fashion Wear 

Western wear is something that shows off your inner cowgirl. This is a  runway fashion style western attire. Anything that is western, stockshow, and country will work.  It should have bling like rhinestones, glitter, sequins, any thing that is glitzy yet looks western. It can be any color. Those livestock show style suits are good as well. It can be a western dress (any length), dressy pants, western suit or skirt, etc. No plain jeans allowed!! Walk and outfit coordination will be judged. This is outfit of choice  but must be fashionable and trendy. You can also use props such as cowboy hats, sunglasses, bandanas etc. Shoes should be western style boots to match your outfit, but you are also welcome to wear heels/shoes that complement your attire.


Evening Gown 

Your dress should reflect your personality and be age appropriate. Choose a dress that best flatters your body type… feel comfortable in it.  MUST BE FLOOR LENGTH length and can be any style or shade of color.  Only exception to this is the baby and little miss divisions under 23 months.  


Photogenic 

Must look as professional as possible, 8clear and good resolution. No distracting backgrounds. Must be a head shot that shows your natural facial beauty without effects or alterations (no glitz photos) . Be sure to smile! 

For girls under 3 years photo will be judged and part of your score. 


This pageant is open to natural born females from across south Texas (Austin to Brownsville and anywhere in between). If you are traveling from out of the area there are several hotels you can book close to the location.  No Experience Needed to Join! It is recommend that you do practice your walks, modeling, poses before event on your own especially if you are new to pageants. 


THIS IS A SEMI-GLITZ PAGEANT. Girls can wear make-up but MUST be age appropriate, no nails under 5, No Tans that are out of the norm or distracting, Keep hair pieces to a minimum, No showing of midriff (stomach area for younger age groups) ALL OUTFITS MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE! Anyone not following rules will lose points on their scores.


Crowning: One Queen will be crowned in each age division. 

They will receive a Rhinestone Crown, Satin  Sash, Crown Pin and a Trophy.


Judge's decision is final. You may inquire about your score after the pageant via text; request must be made via text and scores will be sent out as soon as possible by director. After a month, scores sheets will no longer be available for request.   

Crowned Queens MUST attend at LEAST 3 community events during year of reign.

By participating in this event, you agree that entry into the pageant and filling out this form shall serve as a photo release. You give permission to Rebecca O' Productions to use your photo now and in the future for any pageants or events without expiration. Entrants and participants by registering for this event, you understand that you release and discharge Rebecca O' Productions and it's owner Rebecca Orellana-Anciso, location of event (vary by pageant) Harlingen Community Theatre, Bert Ogden Arena, Weslaco Library (Eugene Braught Theater),  The Landmark on Tower (Alamo), sponsors, employees, volunteers, judges and any participants from any and all known damages, injuries, losses, judgments and/or claims from any causes that may be suffered by an entrants and their guests during or after this event.  Judges decision is final and cannot be contested at any time.  Good Sportsmanship is appreciated and anyone acting out of line will be asked to leave pageant grounds and may be possibly banned from participating in any future events. All entry fee, donation, and people's choice money collected is not transferable, non-refundable whether you show up to event. If you encounter a problem please address any and all concerns to Rebecca. 


As a contestant you and your parents (if under 18) must sign this application. Your ONLINE SUBMISSION serves as signature for both contestant and parent(s). Rebecca Orellana-Anciso dba Rebecca O’ Productions is NOT responsible for any theft or injuries that occur during any part of the pageant and will NOT be held accountable for such acts. Judge’s decision is final. Arguing or public outbreaks of any form will NOT be tolerated. You also understand that All Fees are Non Refundable, Non-Transferable, NO EXCEPTION!!  This applies even if you cannot attend pageant, date changes and final pageant date does not work for you! All contestants must also meet program book deadline (if a book is printed).  Any advertisement sold for the program book is also non-refundable even if contestant drops from the pageant. Failure to comply with any rules or terms of pageant can lead to legal action against you. By signing this application you agree with the terms of the pageant and so do your parents. You also acknowledge you have reviewed the entire application and understand what is expected of you as a contestant as far as all rules and regulations and  areas of competition. You also understand all outfits needed to compete, hair and make-up costs, entry fee and all fees associated with participating are your sole responsibility entirely.  If you win (Crowned), you agree to all the reigning royalty rules and regulations set forth including ATTENDING at least 3 community events. Director has discretion to modify and add any rules and implement any she deems needed at her discretion at any time before, during, or after the pageant!
